Center for Aquaculture Technologies to exhibit at Aquaculture Canada & Sea Farmers 2017 Conference

We are excited to announce we will be exhibiting at the Aquaculture Canada & Sea Farmers conference held from May 28-31, 2017 in Halifax, Nova Scotia at booth number 1. Our colleagues have been busy preparing for this conference. Director of Fish Health, Dr. Mark Braceland will be discussing development of a non-lethal diagnostic test for tissue pathology in Atlantic salmon infected with salmonid alphavirus (SAV3) and he will also present his teams latest work on disease challenge model development in recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS).  Associate Director of Genomics Dr. Tiago Hori will speak about identification of genetic markers associated with tolerance to soybean meal in Atlantic salmon and Dr. Melissa Allen will be presenting a poster describing the development and application of a genetic marker panel for analysis of parentage, diversity and relatedness in largemouth bass. We hope you get a chance to check out all of our speakers and be sure to stop by our booth to learn about how the Center for Aquaculture Technologies can support your research and development programs.
